Hace 19 años debutaba Oasis
La banda hacía su primera presentación bajo el nombre de Oasis (inicialmente The Rain) el 18 de Agosto de 1991 en el Boardwalk de Manchester …Liam en compañía de Paul McGuigan (bajo), Paul Arthurs (guitarra) Tony McCarroll(batería)…
Noel, que ya sabía del proyecto de su hermano luego de una conversación telefónica con su madre, se hizo presente en el show. Unos meses después, también fué invitado a tocar. A pesar de haberlos criticado, aceptó la invitación, pero solicitando ser el único compositor y líder de la misma, y que todos se comprometerían con el único objetivo de lograr el éxito comercial. Con Noel a la cabeza, la banda creó un sonido basado en la simplicidad: Arthurs y McGuigan estaban condenados a tocar acordes de quintas y bases, McCarroll ritmos básicos y los amplificadores con el volúmen al tope, al punto de sonar distorsionados.
Noel acerca de ese día opinó:… “La banda era una porquería, pero Liam no estaba mal como frontman, ellos tenían una banda sin canciones… y yo canciones sin una banda”

Increíble... no puedo parar de acordarme del 10 de Junio, que recién tenía mi entrada... Sinceramente, pensé que iba a pasar mas lento, pero por suerte no. A solo tres días de uno de los mejores días de mi vida... no puedo parar de pensarlo. Escape the fate... en vivo, que increíble. Para colmo, no solo eso. Nightmare (Avenged Sevenfold) también la rompió, se zarpó...
Alrrededor de agosto, llega el nuevo de Escape the Fate... todo junto. Eso, ahora Nightmare, en septiembre My Chem, me sobra la felicidad.
